More Spring . . .

Recently - when it was in the 70s, I went out with the camera. Now, that it's raining and 40 degrees, I'm revisiting my photos. I want spring back!

Happy Spring from my yard to yours!
Love, Linda

Fourth Section

The fourth square is all damp stretched and ready to show off!
This one has cutwork, ruching, and of course French knots!
Poofy things and lots of knots.
And here is Sunny helping me put new screen in the door! The reason we need new screen is lying in the background - you can see his tail.
Have a fun week, Love Linda

Snowdrops and Stuff!

har.bin.ger: anything that foreshadows a future event;
omen; sign.

It is spring here today!
Snowdrops all over the place!
Lots of great smells outside!
An unexpected surprise - a single tulip.
If you say "cookie" his head tilts to the side. Of course he gets one!
Enjoy early spring! Love, Linda

Phila. Flower Show 2012

Off to the Flower Show! This year's theme is Hawaii! When you walk in the entrance, you are underwater! The white strips are orchids.
In the jungle . . .
Colorful arrangements.
On the lanai . . .
Of course, lilies are favorites.
Below, a table sinking in the lava!
I could see myself here!
Then over to the Reading Terminal Market for fresh pasta and bakery treats before hopping on the train back to Lansdale. A fun (and fragrant) day!
Love, Linda

Third Section

Yes, I am still behind on my cloth, but today I would like to share my third section: Ta Da!
(This is from the online class from Karen Ruane click here. The class is over, but she is starting another class this Monday, the 5th.) Of course I signed up, even though I'm waaaaay behind on the first class. Her videos will be available forever, for the class, so I can take my time and enjoy the process.
So, without further ado:
I made a shadow on the lower left (not a stain).
Poofy things.
Can't get enough french knots!
Hope you are having a great weekend! Love Linda
