Philadelphia Flower Show

Went to the Flower Show with Aimee, Kerrie and friends
Wow, ready for Spring!

We did the "Make and Take" Hat Booth!

Then we went to the wine tasting . . .

Nobody drove - we went home on the train . . . wearing our hats!

A Spring Cloth

The winter is getting to me.
What to do, what to do???
Some spring color sewing, a spring cloth
to be made into a pouch.
Here's how it's going so far . . .
It took a long time to decide on colors.
Some hexagons:

Still needs lots more embellishment.

is embellished with a shabby rose.

The second, with bluebirds, has satin ribbons.

Painting a Chandy

Here is the before picture . . . it came with the place.

Really dusty too!
I started with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Pure White.
To part of it I added some craft paint in Driftwood.

I painted the flowers in the Driftwood mix and the rest in white.
I used artist brushes to get into the nooks and crannies.
Then, I went over the whole think with dark wax to antique it.
Done!!

Now, I want to get out my Dremel and drill some tiny holes
for prisms!

During the Storm

No, I'm not going to show you photos of snow piles
Everybody is so tired of that! (Except Florida).
These are the little girl dresses I made while the storm was raging.
Two ruffly shabby tea-dyed dresses
The other one has ribbons instead of the shabby rose:

Both Size 1. For sale in my Etsy store.
Stay warm! Love, Linda

Baby Daygown

Just finished this baby dress. Its pale yellow with white lace
and white embroidery.
A custom order going to Texas.

She is having her daughter's first birthday photos taken
in the Texas bluebonnets.
Isn't that a great idea?!

Just wanted to share. Love, Linda
