My grandmother's afgan. This was made by grandmother Julia,
my father's mother.
It is 100% wool. Many years ago my mother threw it in the washer
which kind of felted it.
But I love it anyway.
Every Christmas I drape it over the back of my sofa for the holidays
and remember grandma.
Love, Linda

Hi Linda, my favorite aunt was Aunt Julia, and she not only made me a beautiful afghan, but also taught me to crochet. Don't you love afghans for snuggling under? Linda
ReplyDeleteIts surely nice to have the afghan from your Grandma. I felted one by mistake that my Mom made me. Life's lessons.
