For the second year I'm participating in the "Where Bloggers Create" Blog Party!
I can't wait to visit all the studios and make some new friends!
My creative space is in my dining room, since I eat all my meals in bed. It hasn't changed a lot since last year, but let me give you a view of what it looked like over the winter!
The house came with a greenhouse - and these plants!
After heating the greenhouse for a winter, I decided I would rather eat and put gas in the car, so they come into the dining room for the winter.
Now they are outside for the summer . . .
And I have my sewing space back!
I've been making bonnets and pillowcase dresses lately.
Bored!
Thanks for your visit! I'll be around to see you.
Love, Linda

Hello sweet Linda!!!!
ReplyDeleteYOUR DOGS ARE SOOOOO DARLING! I bet they follow you wherever you go! And I love that you live where flora and fauna thrive! I so wish I could have entered into this party but I was in the process of painting my studio and also having builders here for two weeks of building a deck! WHAT A MESS, but now, what a treat!
Thank you for visiting and I will be back on line Sunday! BE WELL! Anita

Your plants are beautiful. It is nice that you have your sewing space back and you are creating some lovely things in that space. Your room looks like a light and cheerful place to spend time being creative.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Linda, and you do amazing work.
ReplyDeleteYour work space is wonderous. All that natural light, and plants too.
Thanks for sharing.
You have a beautiful space and the little dresses you make are so sweet!
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful creative space.....
ReplyDeleteWell of COURSE you know you had ME at Dogs and Lace! I love your humor in this post kiddo! Too fun!
ReplyDeleteLook at all that great light you have, I envy that so, I have to rely on artificial light in the "Dungeon Studio!"
I didn't know you did dog massage! That is amazing! Quick story,,,because you know I talk/type too much.....
When my husband Karl died we had an elderly blk lab mix. He went into grief/depression. Wouldn't eat and hardly moved. I took him to the Vet and they said his white count was a bit low, but that seemed to be it..
Well, I'd seen a show about Dog massage,,and being that I was a blubbering good for nothing mess anyway, I took to massaging him every couple of hours on the floor.....
Long story short,,,It worked! I had him for another 2 years, he was over 16. Firm believer in the power of Massage!
Thanks for sharing your studio, if you haven't stopped by yet, swing over and say hi....
Hugs, love and a BUS,,,,,And pets for the fur babies. ALL OF 'em!

Hi Linda. Your pillowcase dresses are precious. And, of course, the dogs are the star of the show!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. And to answer your question, yes, I do commissioned portraits from photos.
Hi Linda, Your house is beautiful and I love the setting in the middle of nature. Your sweet dogs must love that too. I think the plants look great in your dining room but of course it's even better to have a lovely sewing space.
ReplyDeleteI read your last post as well and I almost cried. It always makes me terribly sad when I read about animals being mistreated. It's great that there is such a wonderful place in your area to rescue golden retrievers and that you help them back to a "normal" life with your massages.
Hugs,
Julia
Your pillow case dresses are so sweet!! As well as the bonnets! And your precious "child".... so adorable! I read your bio and can so relate to wanting to get back to the country. I have sent that desire out and hope I have the courage to follow through. Give me trees and nature any day... just as long as it's close enough to a city! Still need the energy of all that inspiration! Charming home and thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi, Linda!
